Ardith VanDer Linden Obituary

Ardith Van Der Linden
93, of Chino passed away October 25, 2012. Ardith was born April 3, 1919 in Bellwood, Nebraska. She then moved to Roseville, CA at age 18 and earned a Associates Degree at Placer Junior College (now Sierra College) in Auburn, CA. In World War II Ardith worked in Flight Operations for the U.S. Air Force, McClellan Field in Sacramento. Ardith married Stanley Van Der Linden in 1956 and moved to Southern California. Stanley and Ardith operated their Dairy for 30 years in Chino. They retired from the Dairy in 1986. For about 10 years Stanley and Ardith enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends and golfing until Stanley became ill. For 9 years Ardith cared for Stanley until his passing in 1997. Ardith was a past President of the El Prado Women's Golf Club and an active member of Chino Valley Community Church
She was loved by all who knew her and is survived by her brothers James (Lois) Lombard of Rocklin, CA and Daniel Lombard of Reno, Nevada; Her niece Diane Ramirez of El Centro, CA and many other nieces and nephews of the Van Der Linden Family who all loved her. In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to VNA Hospice P.O. Box 1208, Claremont, CA 91711. She will be privately placed to rest at Crestlawn Memorial Park to share eternal rest with her husband Stanley Van Der Linden.
