Daniel Plasencia Obituary

February 19, 1949 - January 12, 2021 Daniel J. Plasencia was born on February 19, 1949 in Fontana, California and passed away peacefully at his home in Banning, California on January 12, 2021. Daniel's surviving family members include his mother Carmen Plasencia, brother Michael Plasencia, and sisters Luci Ann Walker & Linda Plasencia. Daniel was preceded in death by his father Pete Plasencia and brother David Plasencia. After graduating from Fontana High School, Daniel served in the Navy during the Vietnam war from 1968 through 1972. Upon his honorable discharge Daniel worked at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana and eventually retired from the San Bernardino Municipal Water Department. Daniel who went by "Danny Joe", was an avid photographer who loved to go hunting and eat breakfast at a restaurant each morning. Daniel's infectious smile and a distinct laugh will be missed by all of his family and many friends. Until we meet again keep smiling down upon us and we will look up into the sky and always see you. Due to COVID-19 Daniel's service will be reserved for family with a private ceremony at Riverside National Cemetery

Danny was one of my older cousins and always a good role model for the younger. His smile and laugh were infectious. He will be sorely missed. Thanks for putting up with us.

May you rest in peace and the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand.
Prayers for your family.
