Hun-Koo Cho Obituary

Dr. Hun-Koo Cho, 85, a Respected Physician, Avid Golfer, and Loving Family Man
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dr. Hun-Koo Cho, a devoted family man and esteemed physician, on January 18, 2024.
Born on October 6, 1938, a distinguished OB/GYN, Hun-Koo earned the respect of his colleagues and patients alike throughout his long career. His commitment to women's health and the delivery of thousands of babies brought immeasurable joy to countless families. A memorable feat included delivering nine babies in one night.
Outside the hospital, Hun-Koo found solace on the golf course. A passionate golfer, he embraced the sport with determination, relishing the camaraderie and challenge it provided. His skill at golf was a testament to his disciplined and focused nature.
A quiet man who found joy in life's simple pleasures, Hun-Koo had a deep appreciation for good food, ballroom dancing, and classical music. His love for the operatic tenor Luciano Pavarotti, and his own singing talents, made every karaoke night a memorable event.
Hun-Koo is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Kyu-Sun Cho. He is also remembered by his sister, Kyung-Goo Cho. Above all, Hun-Koo cherished his role as a father. He leaves behind memories of love, guidance, and warmth for his three children: Christine, Donald, and Carol, along with those of a proud grandfather to his eight grandchildren.
The family will hold a private celebration of Dr. Cho's life. The family is thankful for your thoughts and prayers. No gifts are necessary.
         May he rest in peace.

When I think of Uncle Cho, I always picture him smiling. He was a supportive uncle and a best friend with my father. It was great they became brothers. We will miss him!
