My heart is heavy today almost one year after this terrible accident. My name is Heather and I live in Utah. I first met Josh when I researched places to get a tattoo in Huntington Beach 4 years ago. My spouse and I were traveling to Southern California for 10 days and I wanted to add to my body art while there. Josh took us in at HB Tattoo and did an outstanding job at tattooing my medical alert symbol and the name of my heart condition on my forearm. At that time Josh told me he was new to the shop but not new to tattooing. 4 years later my tattoo looks brand new and has saved my life. It recently made EMT's aware that I had a heart condition when I had an issue with my heart and was unable to respond. I am getting ready to travel to SoCal again and my now 18 year old daughter wants to get tattooed at HB Tattoo. Today, when I went to their site, is when I saw the news of Josh's passing. I only met him once for about 2 hours. But even during that short time, I knew he was an amazing person and an amazing artist. Thank you Josh for providing me with such a great piece of art and even after during death, you saved a life....mine.

Dear Josh, My heart is filled with sadness for this family. How do we live without you? You were such a special person, full of life and laughter. Your brother loved you like a son, his Joshy. You were a beloved son, brother, uncle, fiancé, friend, coworker, artist and so much more. My heart breaks that your nieces in the womb will never get to meet their uncle Joshy. Rest assured that they will hear stories of your legacy. The thought of not having you here with us anymore is incomprehensible. Again, how do we live without you? I don't know the answer to this question. I ask God that he bring peace to this family and all that continue to suffer from losing such a special man. May you rest in peace dear uncle Joshy, we love you very much.
