Ryan Higgins Obituary

Higgins 1976-2006 1> Ryan passed away on September 2, 2006 due to injuries from an automobile accident near Parker, AZ. Ryan was born December 13, 1976 and grew up in Claremont, CA. He graduated from Claremont High School in 1995. He attended San Diego State University his freshman year and played on the SDSU Aztecs ice hockey team. He transferred to Cal Poly Pomona and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2000. Ryan's first career path was Personal Finance and Investments. He worked ha rd and found it challenging. He eventually followed in his father's footsteps and switched his focus to real estate and the financing end of mortgages. Ryan received his broker's license and at the time of his death was co-owner of Pacific Southwest Lending and Realty, Solano Beach, CA. Ryan was a very motivated businessman and having fun was also a priority in his life. He was adventurous and enjoyed ice hockey, tennis, hunting, motorcycling, and bicycling. He was passionate about the Pacific Ocean and l oved boating, fishing, surfing, and scuba diving. He was especially proud when he caught a 38-inch yellowtail on a fishing trip with his father and friends the weekend before his death. Ryan leaves his parents, Paul and Mary Higgins, Matlacha Isles, FL; his brother and sister-in-law, Ross and Danielle Higgins, Fontana, CA; his soulmate, Rachel Tew, Carlsbad, CA; aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. Services will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Church of the Nativity, Ranch o Santa Fe, CA. A gathering for friends and family will follow at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. His ashes will be scattered at sea. A website has been established in his memory at www.ryanchiggins.com.
