SCOTT KEY Obituary

51, of Mt Baldy, California passed away early Saturday morning, July 31. He was born in San Bernardino, California, February 23, 1959. He grew up in Alta Loma when country living was still enjoyed. He was the youngest son of Francis Key, deceased, and Lois Key of Alta Loma. He was an alumnus of Alta Loma High School and attended Snow College in Utah. He is survived by his mother Lois Key, daughter Madison Makayla Key, son Samuel Strong Key and their mother Karen Reyes. Brother Gary (Tanya) of Fresno, California, sisters Barbara Bono (Philip) of Gasquet, California, Debi Uhlig of West Palm Beach, Florida, Judi Norton (Richard) of Juno Isles, Florida and many nieces and nephews. Scott was an artisan, he could build or make anything if he didn't know how he would figure it out. He was an avid reader, always had a book with him to read in spare moments. He loved his mountain home and cat, Spatso. There was a Lionel Train running around his living room ceiling. His main joy was spending time with his children, rough housing, playing and helping with school work. Scott was a softie, if there was an injured critter. His favorite was an owl with an injured wing which became such a pet that it would ride around on his shoulder and give him an occasional peck on his ear. Scott will be missed by so many people, family, friends and customers who became his friends, all who loved him. Graveside service will be Friday, August 6, 2010 at 2:30PM at Green Acres Memorial Park, 11715 Cedar Ave. Bloomington Cal. Phone (909) 877-2311. No flowers please. If you wish to donate please donate to an animal shelter in Scott's name.

Scott, a kindred spirit to everyone he met. As soon as Scott spoke, you knew he was a kind, gentle, loving man.

Scott, was recommended to us by a neighbor who he had done some work for - Scott did several jobs for us, in between his busy schedule. He built, added a window to a wall that had no window, hung ceiling fans in every room, with no wires showing, resized our concrete stairs & fixed our railing and added electrical outlets.

My most favorite item that Scott built, is my doll house. It's H51"xW45"xD12", has a pitched roof, just like a regular house. It's all open front with staggered shelves and on each side has a cut out window and a door that opens and closes. Scott made my doll house so special to me by his caring, going the extra mile by adding in extra features he did on his own. In everything he did for us he always went beyond, rather than just doing a job.

We will miss you Scott... you probably didn't realize that you gave us comfort by leaving a loving impression you made on our heart.
