Arnold was born on September 20, 1954 in Wyatt, Miss.
He is survived by his son, Charlie Dotson of VT; brothers, Edward, James of Imperial, Stephen, Melvin Lankford of Seeley and Glenn, Gerald of AZ; sisters, Laveda Stoner of WA, Sharron Johnson of AZ, Mary Widmann of Imperial; and grandchildren, Nevada and Skylar of VT.
Service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 9 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley with Glenn Dotson officiating.

He was my uncle. He was also a brother, father, grandfather and friend to some. My childhood memories of him were around cars and oil stained hands. As an adult, I remember him working on the ice cream trucks. I heard stories about him singing at the country club (funny story). We shared a birthday and the love of music. Sing for the Angels uncle Arnold. Give my Granpa And grandma a hug from me. Rest in Peace
