Blanche Rebecca Jonte, 87, went to heaven peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2013.
Celebration of Life will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 15 at Foust Funeral Home Chapel, Grapevine, TX.
Blanche was born on August 30, 1925 in Tampa, Florida. She lived in El Centro from 1954-1964 where she owned an Arthur Murray dance studio and worked for C.A. Irving Realtors. She remained in California until 1997 when she and her husband, Bill " Jack" Jonte, of 45 plus years, moved to Grapevine, TX. Blanche loved Grapevine, going to Silver Sneakers to exercise, dancing playing cards, bingo, garage sales and being around people; she was a joy to all that knew her.
Blanche is survived by her sister Joyce Baker of California; her children, Devi Deaver, Darlene Freed and husband David, Rodger Johnson and wife Deborah, all of Grapevine; Jack's children, JoDene Jonte, Jerry Jonte and wife Judy from CA; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.

Dear Blanche, thank you for always being so kind and welcoming to me into the family and your home....I will always remember our stay with you on our way to Virginia when we all piled into your car after dinner and drove to the new Crispy Creme and you insisited we all get the warm glazed donuts and piged out all the way home!! One of many great memories of you and your family. May you be reunited with all your loved ones in heaven and have peace and love. Ruthie
