CHERYL KANDAL Obituary

CHERYL DIANE

KANDAL

June 14, 1953 – June 14, 2025

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Cheryl Diane Kandal, who left us peacefully on her 72nd birthday, June 14, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Cheryl was the embodiment of warmth, kindness, and quiet strength. A truly sweet and gentle soul, Cheryl had an extraordinary way of making everyone around her feel loved and cared for. Her smile could brighten a room, and her hugs were a source of comfort to all who knew her.

Born on June 14, 1953, Cheryl was the beloved daughter of cattleman John Taylor and his wife, Vera Taylor. Cheryl dedicated her life to her family - the heart of everything she did. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Ed Kandal, and a nurturing, loving mother to her daughters, Chella Brown, Kimberly Morgan and Mary Cimino.

Her greatest joy in life came from being a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren: Hailey, Taylor, Madison, and Hunter Brown; Jacob, Mason, and Sloane Morgan; and Nick, Sophia, and Anthony Cimino. Each of them was the light of her life, and she poured her heart into making their lives brighter, happier, and filled with love.

Cheryl was also a talented and creative woman. She loved to sew, cook, and craft always finding joy in the little things and creating beauty with her hands. Each handmade item and thoughtful gesture carries a piece of her spirit - keepsakes her family will hold dear forever. Her kitchen was a place of magic, filled with the comforting smells of her home-cooked meals and the sound of laughter.

Though Alzheimer's slowly stole her memories, it never diminished her spirit. Cheryl's gentle presence, her love for her family, and her sweet nature remained through it all, reminding us every day of the incredible woman she was.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, patience, and kindness a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends in the fall of 2025. Cheryl Diane Kandal will be missed beyond measure, but her love will continue to guide us every day.
