Daniel Mendoza, 53, of Corona passed away May 30, 2020 as the result of COVID-19.
He was born December 11, 1966 in Fort Sill, OK and was married to Lupe Mendoza on September 30, 1989. Danny was a dedicated husband and father. He was a hard working man who loved his career, having worked for Department of Corrections for 24 years. He was dedicated and loving with his family and friends!
Mass will take place Thursday, September 30 at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley following Mass.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Yolanda Ortiz Rodriguez.
Danny is survived by his wife, Lupe V. Mendoza of Corona, CA; daughter, Mercedes V. Mendoza of San Diego, CA; son, Daniel L. Mendoza IV of Corona, CA; father and stepmother, Daniel and Lola L. Mendoza Jr. of Brawley, CA; sisters and brothers, Lisa, David, Vicky, Nichole, and Nick; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
