ENEDINA EVANGELINA RAM

It is with deep sadness we share that Enedina Evangelina Ram passed away of cancer on July 20, 2025, in Murrieta, CA, at the age of 88. Born on May 26, 1937, in Florence, AZ, she was a cherished and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and kindness.

Enedina's professional life was marked by her long tenure at Mervyn's Department Store in El Centro, CA, where she worked diligently from September 19, 1980, until her retirement on May 22, 1996. Her work ethic and dedication to her role were admired by her colleagues and customers alike.

A woman of many talents, Enedina had a lifelong passion for the arts. From her younger years through to her senior days, she engaged in painting, sewing, cross-stitching, and crocheting, creating numerous beautiful pieces that reflected her artistic spirit. She also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, playing sudoku, and assembling large puzzles. Her love for the thrill of games was evident in her frequent visits to casinos and bingo halls, activities she cherished throughout her life.

Enedina was preceded in death by her husband, Raul Duran Ram on 9-11-18; her parents, Miguel Ruiz and Jessie Sigala Ruiz; her siblings, Grace Ruiz, Sylvia Ruiz Valenzuela, Norma Ruiz Galindo, Ruben Ruiz, Miguel Jr. Ruiz, Rodolfo Ruiz, and Jack Ruiz. She is survived by her children, Armando, Anthony, Arlene, Angelina Rodriquez & son-in-law, Ruben Rodriquez. Her siblings, Cecelia Ruiz, Oscar Ruiz and Irma Ruiz Sandoval. Enedina has 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren who will all miss her deeply.

The funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 153 East Brighton Ave, El Centro, CA on August 12, 2025, at 8 a.m., followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, 201 East Gillett Rd, El Centro, CA. Enedina's Celebration of Life will be celebrated at Imperial Valley Food Bank following burial.
