ESPERANZA R. DAGNINO
Aug. 12, 1934 - June 28, 2012
Esperanza R. Dagnino of Brawley left us peacefully from her residence at Carlsbad Emeritus on June 28th, 2012 with daughters by her side. She was born August 12, 1934 in Brawley where she lived together with her husband of 56 years, Raymond L. Dagnino.
Esperanza is survived by her children Flora, Cindy, Ralph, Raymond Jr. and Helen Dagnino. Her grandchildren Stephen and Christine Beltran, Robert, Andrew, and Julia Dagnino. Her siblings Lupe Erros, Rosie Balley, Rita Velasquez, Reyna Rojas, Ricardo Reyes, Raphael Reyes, Rebecca Reyes, Adela Price, Rogelio Reyes and Rachel Ramirez. She was preceded in death by parents Adela Valenzuela and Raphael Reyes and her husband Raymond L. Dagnino.
Esperanza's lifelong focus was caring for her mother, family and friends. She enjoyed holidays, gardening, cooking and cake decorating. Esperanza also enjoyed prayer group and choir activities with the Sacred Heart and Saint Margaret Mary's communities. We will always remember her smile, kind demeanor and the fond memories we shared with our friend Esperanza "Hopie" Dagnino.
Visitation will be held at Frye Chapel Thursday, July 5th from 6 to 9 p.m., with the rosary commencing at 7 p.m. The funeral mass is 8 a.m. at Sacred Heart on Friday, July 6th. Esperanza will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.

Dearest Flo, Cindy, Ralph, JR and family,
My sincerest condolence in the passing
of your beloved mother. Please find some solace in knowing that she is no longer suffering. Our mothers both entered the gates of Heaven on the very same day and can you just Imagine Dona Adela and mama weloming their daughter to join them, other family members and old friends. They are probably rejoicing all together with our Lord and Savior. We are family and should you need us, we are only a phone call away, you should all know this.
