FLOYD LAVENDER Obituary
August 4, 1930- June 9, 2022
Floyd Lavender Sr., 91 of El Centro, CA was born on August 4, 1930 in Monrow, LA and passed away on June 9, 2022 of natural causes.
Floyd is survived by his daughters, Florida Holbert (Philip), Rosa Hartfield, Patsy Lavender, Marlene Swanegan (Edward), and Vanessa Carter; sons, Floyd Lavender Jr., and James Lavender (Lisa).
Viewing will be held on July 5, 2022 at 8 a.m. followed by funeral services, officiated by Pastor Dan Bruce at 9 a.m. at 320 J St. Imperial, CA. Military Burial at Evergreen Cemetery, El Centro, CA.

Mr. Lavender worked for the Chevy dealership in EC whenIfirst moved here. When I took my car in for service I knew if he worked on my car it was in good hands, His children were all very good athletes. I had most of them in my PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS. They were all very good students. His sons were good football and basketball players. He and his wife could be seen in the stands on Friday night.
