He was my friend through volunteering with AFS and an extremly valuable person in dealing with students. You have friends all over the world due to your unselfish giving. I still have the geography poster he gave me hanging in my office. You were terrible at answering your phone, but I will miss you greatly my friend.

My most sincere condolences to the Aguilar family. Francisco was such a blessing to all, especially his teenaged and adult friends made through AFS. He was an outstanding teacher and leader for children navigating the strange waters of two new cultures, and he gave unselfishly to those teens. He will be mourned all over the world.
I will miss him and his friendship. God takes the best first, and my friend was one of the best!
