HENRY CAMARENA

Henry Rodriguez Camarena of Brawley was called to Heaven for rest, Sunday, November 10, 2013. Henry was born in El Centro on January 23, 1955 to Ofelia Rodriguez and Joe Camarena. Henry attended Brawley schools. He married Annie Murgia on February 28, 1973 and had 2 children, Henry Jr. and Angela Camarena. Henry later had 2 more sons, Alex and Richard Camarena. Henry was an avid Chargers fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Henry was retired from working in the Gold Mines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ofelia Rodriguez and Joe Camarena.
Henry is survived by his wife Annie; daughter, Angela; sons, Henry Jr., Alex, and Richard Camarena; brothers, Reyes Camarena and Ismael "Ismo" Hernandez; sister, Lupe Arriaga; grandchildren, Alyssa and Kayla Rubio, Andrew and Cain Camarena; and maternal aunts, Hellen and Tillie Rodriguez.
Visitation will take place Thursday, November 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley. Chapel service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 22, also at Frye Chapel. Henry will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery following the service.

My condolences to the familia and know that an angel will be looking upon you all. It is with great sadness to learn that my long time buddy and friend has passed away. There was a time in our lives that we were inseparable. We became close friends and then time passed. I know that he had placed his Faith and Trust in our LORD JESUS and that he is now in the Hands of GOD! I pray for Peace, Comfort and the Blessing from the LORD to his remaining family members, including Lupe, Reyes and all his Children. May you Rest In Peace my Friend!
