Jack R. Forrester, 64, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2025, on his way to El Centro. Jack loved fishing the canals and riverbeds of the Imperial Valley and spending time with family and friends in the desert. Jack had a deep rooted love for wildlife, motorcycles and art. Jack is remembered by friends and family for his devotion to the Lord. Jack has been devoted to the New Creations Men's Home mission for the past 30 years following his own completion of the program. He enjoyed leading a devotion group on the 5th Tuesday of the month, never forgetting the impact fellowship has on the journey of sobriety. Jack was a jack of all trades, highlights from his resume include work for Shippers Ice as a dock foreman, in Plaster City as a Board Line Supervisor, for Renzenberger Inc. transporting the engine crew, and in Kingman, AZ servicing semi trucks.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Robert Forrester; sister, Barbara Sieglitz; nephew, Robert E. Sieglitz; and his uncle, Norman Fleming. Jack is survived by his son, Zachary Forrester (Karina); brother, James Forrester (Karen); two grandchildren, Sean and Stephanie; and beloved nieces and nephews.

His memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro, followed by a reception at Grace Lutheran Church in El Centro. The family asks that you join them in remembering Jack on this day. Jack thank you for your encouragement and fellowship, your memory lives on in our hearts.
