JOHN MYERS Obituary
John Myers, 68, of Imperial passed away on June 18, 2021. He was born on September 13, 1952 in Brawley. John was a cowboy, a pilot, but his true passion was serving the City of Brawley as a Peace Officer. He was preceded in death by wife, Peggy Myers; parents, Billy and Lavada Myers; siblings, Bob Myers, Alice Clark and Fred Myers. John is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Myers; step-children, Penny, Perry and Lenny Kershner; grandchildren Anthony, Nathan, Matthew and Farrah. A Celebration of his Life will be held July 16 th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at his daughters home 240 Shoshonean Dr., Imperial.

So sad to learn of John's passing. Besides being a wonderful BUHS Class of 1970 classmate, he was such a special officer with the Brawley Police Department. He will be missed. All the best to the family.

Myers Family,
John was my friend, my coworker, my friend, and my mentor when I arrived to work in Brawley. To call him a gentleman is an understatement. I am saddened, deeply saddened, by the news of his passing. May our Sweet Lord and Mother Mary receive him with open arms.
