Herb and family,

I just talked to Mary Sue today and learned of Lou Ann's passing.
So sorry for your earthly loss, but
know you rejoice in knowing she is
"Home at Last!" I'm a 2nd Generation
cousin - daughter of Ida Sue Brister
Gardner. The last time we saw you was in the Dallas Fort Worth area for a reunion at the Garden Wyndham Hotel -- probably in the early 2000's. My Mom
passed on in January 2005. Aunt Babe
(J.C. Brister's wife) is in an Assisted
Living Home in Keller, TX. She is the
only remaining cousin (by marriage) of
the children of Charles Franklin Brister. God Bless You All -- "See you
at His House"

I got to know Lou Ann through Herb who was a good friend to my late husband ,Lee.
Our families shared happy memories of summers spent in Arizona when Herb and Lee were getting their doctorate degrees.
My prayers go out to Herb and the family at the loss of beautiful Lou Ann.

I have known Lou Ann since 3rd grade and spent lots of time with her in grade school as she lived 2 blocks over. On one sleep over Mrs. Brister made waffles for breakfast the next morning and put powder sugar on them, something I had never tried before and now the only way I eat them. Lou Ann was a very special person, always happy an outgoing. I will miss her and Herb's visit to us in Az and cherish the time we had. We all know who she is walking with, but I can't imagine a world with a Herb and no Lou Ann. Love you both.

I went to school with Lou Ann. We participated in many activities together. We were able to see each other occasionally at luncheons over the years. She was the nicest friend and had the sweetest smile.

Lou Ann and I had been good friends since we were about 7 years old. She was a wonderful woman and everyone who knew her loved her. I have many beautiful memories of Lou Ann and will never forget her. She loved her family very much and I offer my sincere condolences to each of them.

Herb and Lou Ann were classmates of my husband Larry and myself and all graduated from High School in 1955 from the same class. We have so many wonderful memories from our years together and were happy to see them again at our 50th high school reunion 10 years ago. Our deepest sympathy and loving thoughts go to Herb and all of his family but know she is in the arms of our Lord.

To Lou Ann's Family,
I just loved her so much. She had a way of making things right. She loved the Lord so much. I would go to the Christian Women's Club for every Luncheon. We all were glad to hear her speak about the Lord. She was fabulous with us all. I will truly miss her. I know that she is at peace now. What an inspiration she was to all of us.
May the Lord give you peace through all of this.

Aunt Louann was lovely on the outside and beautiful on the inside. She was my light and laughter through out my childhood and will continue to be until I see her again in heaven. I love you and want to thank you for making me feel very special and thoroughly loved. I love you. Love, Lisa Sue

My sympathies to all of you. Some of my earliest memories of church are Herb and Lou Ann singing. Lou Ann was beautiful inside and out, a real testimony of the Lord in her life.
