Maria C. Zendejas, 59, of Brawley, CA passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Maria was born on October 11, 1962 in Brawley, CA. Maria was much loved, family oriented person who took pride in helping anyone she could. Her door was always opened for anyone who needed it. Her greatest accomplishment were her four children, who were both the guiding light and driving force of her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rodrigo U. Zendejas; mother, Paula M. Zendejas; and brother, David Zendejas.
Maria is survived by her four children, Rodrigo (Valerie) Pope, James (Claudia) Pope, Robert (Susan) Pope, Rosario Belen (Arron) Muniz; eleven loving grand children; six siblings, Guadalupe Zendejas, Jose (Christina) Zendejas, Francisca Garcia, Mario (Darlene) Zendejas, Dolores Zendejas, Paula (Pablo) Barajas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley, CA.

Hello Maria´s Babies. My name is Sophia, Rocky´s Mom. We knew each other back when your eldest brother was in Pop-Warner Football and your Mother was the team Mother along with Dee Williams...Who now works at PMH as Head of Security. I am So Sorry that You All lost a living Angel. I too, lost Rocky in2020 to Covid-19 . I have always kept all of you in my thoughts and prayers, just as Maria would have. Dearest James,
I send my most heartfelt and sincere condolences to you, your brothers and sister in the loss of your beautiful momma ... A woman of strength and gentle, loving kindness.
I know she left with an incredible peace knowing how well you all were at this stage in life - she did well raising all of you and I know you will honor the love she gave all of you from this day forward with pride and joy.
May every happy memory of your momma bring comfort to you and all who knew and loved her.
