MIGUEL ESPINOZA

Miguel Espinoza, 82, of El Centro passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at home surrounded by the love of his life holding his hand. His children kissing and assuring him, "Mom will be taken care of by us, don't worry." His family was next to him as he took his last breath.
Miguel was born on October 20, 1931 in Mexicali, B.C. Mexico. He married Maria Ernestina on April 19, 1952 in Mexicali, B.C. Mexico. Miguel like to go fishing and hunting. He liked to watch baseball games and basketball and was a faithful Lakers fan, even if his team wasn't doing great. He also enjoyed taking his family to the beach many times throughout the years. It was later in life he found his real passion, preaching Jehovah's word from door to door. He was a firm believer he will be resurrected by his God, Jehovah on this earth, accompanied by his three sons, parents, his beloved sister-in-law Maura and of course Doña Lenchita. He wasn't shy when it came to showing love to his entire family. His family will miss him greatly, but knowing he is in peace and resting, makes them feel all at peace as well.
He was preceded in death by his parents and lovable sons, Rene, Armando and Sergio.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Ernestina Espinoza; sons, Alfredo, Miguel, Fernando, Jose and Ernesto; daughters, Lourdes Bravo, Matilde, Lorenia and Juana Espinoza; 42 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, all loved by tata; numerous nieces and nephews; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems brothers Mortuary in El Centro. Service will be held at 7 p.m. Burial will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 9 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery.
His family would like to thank IHHS services, Hospice of IV, Maria Arevalo, Elena Martinez, Rosalia Diaz, Dr. Ng and Guerrero, Vons Pharmacy for being so kind, patient and respectful through the years. Te queremos apa, tata y esposo.
