Christine, Ben, Joe and kids.
My best friend Ophie was the most fun and full of life friend I've had. I have so many good memories of our times together.
Her and I had known each other since we were in the 4th grade and kept our close friendship througout all these years. She became my son's godmother with such pride when my son asked her to be his sponsor. She was my parents good friend and confidante and we all saw her (and Christine) as family.
I will always be so proud of her accomplishments and the many lives she touched because of her wonderfull rich sense of humor, and good heart.
Always my buddy we gave each other a hard time when one of us would "mess up" but gave each other support when times were bad.
"Things aren't that bad Lupe!" as she'd say and we would go on to our next venture. I have so many fond memories of her and I and I can still here her great laugh as if she was right next to me.
I will love my good friend forever and know that she is looking after all her loved ones from her heavenly artist's loft up there.
Friends like this come only once in a while, cherish these good friends as I did Ophie and your life will be enriched forever.
My comfort is that we will all be together someday and rejoice with her again.
Love

Christy:

My deepest thanks to everyone who has had our family in their thoughts and prayers, you have given me renewed strength with your spiritual support. Death is profound and a sad fact of life, it becomes clouded over time with lifes unending pull. There are many choices to be made, choose wisely and stay steadfast, many tears may lie ahead but always remember even a ROSE needs a little rain to grow. Be happy without as you would be with, for what you own around you is nothing compared to the love you can have inside you. Not in sadness but in joy remember me!

Dear Christy:
Years ago I hired Ophelia as our young psychologist with a great sense of humor. She came into my office and would share stories and then both of us would laugh. She made life better for me and many others. NOTE: My housekeeper, "Alma" says to give you her condolences. She would like to send you a card. She has fond memories of you and Ophelia.
God Bless You.

Christy, Ben and Joe,
I loved Ophelia as a dear friend, colleague and sister in Christ. We were supposed to keep each other in line as we appproached retirement age and retire at the same time. I will always cherish my friendship with her and am encouraged that she is with God praying for the rest of us as we continue our journey to HIM. You, Ophelia's family, have a friend in me. Please keep in touch. Love and God' peace, Clarisa

Christy, Joe & Ben,
Life is so precious that sometimes we fail to see the gifts that mean the most to us. Ophie was truly a Gift from God and she now resides in Heaven, at peace, with no pain or cancer. I cherish the time we had together and there are No words to say how much she meant to me... or to the family.
I Pray that God will guide and direct each of you during this most difficult time. Your Friend Forever
