PATRICIA COLE Obituary
May 14, 1939 – June 18, 2025
Patricia Alice Cole (Zinn), loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on May 14, 1939, in El Centro, California, to Milton David Zinn and Pauline Minnie Zimmerman.
Pat spent nearly her entire life in El Centro, until moving late in life to Las Vegas to be near several of her children and many of her grandchildren. She loved the Imperial Valley. Shortly before her passing, when asked if she still missed the Imperial Valley, her reply was, "Every day." Pat from graduated Central Union High School in 1957. In 1961, she married the love of her life, William "Bill" Cole. Together, they raised nine children in El Centro. Pat was a faithful and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, fulfilling many church responsibilities over the years. She also served for several years as a board member for the McCabe School District, and as a member of an Imperial County advisory board concerning drug and alcohol abuse.
She is survived by her nine children, Kimberly (Bruce) Chang of Las Vegas, NV, Lisa (Carl) Sonne of Del Mar, CA, Andrea Cole of San Diego, CA, William (Darci) Cole of San Diego, CA, John (Halie) Cole of Highland, UT, David Cole of South Jordan, UT, Catherine (Mao) Hernandez of Las Vegas, NV, Allison (David) Yakonich of Las Vegas, NV, and Suzanne (Brad) Davidson of Mission Viejo, CA; her 10 siblings, Ray Zinn, Paul Zinn, Robert Zinn, Linda Taylor, Marilyn Zinn Eckard, Richard Zinn, Karen Oates, Jeanne Grant, Cinda Zinn Christensen, and Milton Zinn; her 25 grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren. She leaves a legacy of faith and of love for her family and community.
