Richard Warren Wick, 82, of El Cajon passed away Friday, December 9, 2005.
Dick was born in Minneapolis, MN. He was a General Agent for TransAmerica Life Insurance Co. He served in the Marine Corps during WW II.
Dick was a long-time member of Brawley First Christian Church serving as Sunday School Superintendent, deacon, elder, and choir member. He was also a past president of Brawley Kiwanis Club, a member of Del Rio Country Club, and an owner of Planters Hotel Barber Shop for 15 years.
Services will be on Friday, January 6, 2005 at Fort Rosecrans, Point Loma commencing at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Fort Rosecrans.
Dick is survived by his wife Dorothy Wick;daughter, Barbara Holmes of Roseburg, OR; sons, Bill Wick of San Diego, Chris Wick of Fayetteville, AR and Dan Wick of Spring Valley; sisters, Carol Johnston of Racine, WI and Margie Wagner of Tucson, AZ; 9 grandchildren, and 1 great- grandchild.
