RICK LEIMGRUBER Obituary
Rick Leimgruber, 44, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on March 21, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born March 14, 1973 in El Centro. He attended Holtville schools, was Valedictorian of his Senior Class of 1991. He then went to U.C. Irvine for 1 year and transferred to U.C.S.D. and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and a minor in History. He was a Senior Software Engineer and he lived in San Diego and worked at Raytheon developing Cobra Framework and adaptive algorithms and many different places such as Garmin as a Senior Software Engineer, Harris as a Technical Lead Senior Software Engineer, Concrete Surveillance as Project Manager, Northrop Grumman as a Tech Lead Engineer, Qualcomm as a Software Engineer. In 2009 Rick and his family moved to Scottsdale, AZ where his last job was at General Dynamics as the team Senior Lead Cobra Software Engineer. He had top high security Military clearance. Rick was a very happy easy going person. He was always joking and the life of the party and will be missed by all that knew him. Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernie and Jackie Leimgruber Sr.; grandparents, John and Louise Freeman; uncle, Jerry Freeman; cousin, Erika Elkins; his partner and love of his life, Roxanne Shaver-Leimgruber. He is survived by his mother and father, Ernie and Vicky Leimgruber of Holtville; sister, Erin Leimgruber of Coronado, CA, her children Krystyna Olbrich and son Tyler; sister Rebekah (David Rose) of San Diego, CA and son, Jack; daughter, Chloe and son Erik Leimgruber. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 9 a.m. at Hems Brothers and Mortuary in El Centro with service at 10 a.m. and will be officiated by Pastor Travis Mattocks of Yuma's Pentecostal Assembly. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Reception following burial at I.V. Swiss Club 1585 E. Worthington Rd. Holtville, CA from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Dear Family,
Rick I am so sorry you are gone but you are with your love in heaven. When I heard, the first thing I thought is he could not live without Roxanne. May you both have piece and be free of all the tragedy life has brought... you can fly together taking care of your children as angel parents. They say true loved ones die within a short time of each other. May you both "Rest In Paradise"! Nothing can hurt you in heaven!

My Ricky,
