VICTOR CARDENAS Obituary
Victor Cardenas, 66, of South Gate, CA passed on March 7, 2021 due to COVID-19 complications/Aneurysm in Inglewood, CA. He was born on July 31, 1954 in Mexicali, BC. then moved to Calexico at the age of 4. Victor graduated form Calexico High School in 1974 and took some college courses, love running cross country, drawing, writing scriptures. Attended Seminary School in Los Angeles to become a pastor his passion grew to preach the word of God.Work as janitor for various companies. Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Eufemia Cardenas; sister, Sandra Cardenas; brother-in-law, Abraham Valdez; brother, Charles Cardenas; niece, Yasenia Valdez and nephew, Edwardo Cardenas. He is survived by his wife, Ana Cardenas; daughter, Erline Cardenas (Richard); sons, Victor Cardenas Jr. and Victor Cardenas Jr.; 2nd granddaughter, Jessica Serrano; grandsons, Gregory Lomeli, Jacob Hernandez; brothers, Armando (Concepcion) Cardenas and Robert (Monica) Pena; sisters, Elizabeth Cardenas (Lauro) Estrada and Rosa Cardenas(Roberto) Camalich; 40 nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10 a.m. at South Los Angeles Mortuary 1020 W 94 St. Los Angeles with service to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at 2:30 p.m. at Inglewood Park Cemetery 720 E. Florence, CA 90301. A great loss and forever will be miss a great son brother, father ,husband grandfather, and friend.Naturally making everybody laugh with a wonderful soul never shy in preaching.
