Victor Manuel Quinones was 80 years old at the time of his passing on July 4, 2022. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on December 23, 1941. His family emigrated from Mexico while Victor was still a child. They ended up in Calipatria, CA where Victor was raised and completed his schooling. Though, it was in Brawley, CA where he met the love of his life in the mid-1960's, the woman he would marry and start a life with, Yolanda Trujillo. They married in 1965 and would spend the next fifty-five plus years together in the City of Brawley. Victor and Yolanda then had their first and only born, Victor A. Quinones.

Victor, managed stores in the retail business such as: MayFair and I.V. Farms for over fifty years and another ten years in the Calipatria State Prison store. Victor was also a musician, about four years as the drummer/percussionist for a popular Imperial Valley group los Continentals in the late 1960's.

Victor was a much beloved: husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a cherished brother. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Barros; step-father, Sylvester Barros; sister & brother-in-law, Christina & Jesse Suazo; brothers, Richard Barros, Luis and Santiago Quinones; and finally his dearest and adored wife, Yolanda Trujillo Quinones. Victor is survived by his loving son, Victor A. Quinones; grandchildren, Amber Felice Quinones (Chris Cloclasure), Victor Anthony Quinones Jr., Vanessa Yolanda Quinones; great grandchildren, Meadow, Noah, Jayde and Ian; and his remaining close-knit siblings sister, Anna; brothers, Sylvester, Jesus and Miguel.

The Quinones family would like to give their thanks to all who offered their condolences, well wishes and prayers and would like to extend an invitation to celebrate the well lived life of Victor Manuel Quinones.

Funeral services will be on Monday, August 8, 2022 starting with a Rosary and a Mass at 8am. at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley. Immediately followed by the burial at Riverview Cemetery.
