Marsha Kay Biles

Marsha Kay Biles of Jackson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 25, 2024. Born in Forsyth on November 22, 1947, she was the daughter of Robert and Dorothy Martin and sister to Judy Mackey and Karen McLean. She married the love of her life, Billy Biles in 1968 and leaves behind their 55 years of marriage. Together, they had two children, daughter Tammy Biles Hawkins, wife of Thomas Hawkins, and son Bill Biles, life companion of Alexandre De Paula and Gui Souza. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Todd Jones Jr., Ali Burdin wife of Justin Burdin, Josh Jones husband of Kallie Jones, and Will Jones, as well as four great grandchildren Oaklynd Burdin, Barrett Burdin, Billie Kay Jones, and Rowan Burdin.

Marsha moved to Jackson after marriage and spent her life farming and raising all of her children and grandchildren. She was a long-time member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Funeral Services for Marsha Biles will he held Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 11 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church. Mr. Rudy Mangham will officiate. The visitation will be held at Haisten Funeral Home Tuesday May 28 from 5 until 7 PM. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.haistenfuneral.com. Marsha will be laid to rest in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
