Charles Case Obituary

Charles Alvin (Bill) Case, Sr.

Funeral services for Bill Case, age 80, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with Rev. Mark Cagle and Rev. J.P. Stovall officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, where military honors will be observed.

Mr. Case passed away Monday, September 19th, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born in Madison County, TN on March 22, 1931 the son of the late Cam and Dezzie Moore Case. Mr. Case was the retired owner and operator of the former Case Wholesale Meat Company, where he specialized in barbeque and catering. Mr. Case was protestant in faith and proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force, and was an avid duck hunter.

Mr. Case is survived by his wife, Sarah Whitmore Case of Jackson; three daughters, Ginger Bly and husband David of Jackson, Paula Graham and husband David of Jackson, Bambi Seavers and husband Mark of Trenton; two sons, Charles A. Case, Jr. of Jackson and Gregory Alan Case of Pinson; one sister, Mary Frances Pipkin; one brother, Robert Case, both of Jackson; twelve grandchildren, Shane Case, Charles A. Case III, Tyler Graham, Shaun Cole, Josh King, Stephen Case, Brittney King, Taylor King, Jamie Cole, Tyler Seavers, Jessica Graham and Heather Chaney and four great- grandchildren, Damien Gonzalez, Dylan Case, Jaden Case and Gage Denbow, and his dog and best buddy, Tanner.

Other than his parents, Mr. Case was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Grandsons serving as Pallbearers are, Shane Case, Charles A. Case III, Tyler Graham, Shaun Cole, Josh King and Stephen Case.

Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.

The family will receive friends today, September 20th from 5 until 8 p.m., at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.
