Fred,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I have two sons about the same age as Jim and I can't imagine losing them at this age. Having lost a 9 month old grandchild and both parents in the past few years all I can tell you is that over time the happy memories will replace the sad ones, and you will smile again when you think of him.

My heartfelt sympathy and prayers for the loss of Jim. I met him at Love and Truth church a few years ago. He was a fine Christian man with such a kindness not many have these days. He was also a gentleman and very thoughtful. He loved life and making others happy. RIP Jim. God bless you, friends and family.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news about Jim. My husband and I knew Jim through mutual friends and also lived in Memphis at the same time. Although I have not seen him in several years, I have fond memories of him. One thing in particular I remember is that I was in a car accident on the interstate, and he came to rescue me. This is just one example of how he was always willing to help without hesitation. I pray that the memories of Jim will be kept alive by those that knew him, and stay with you always. He will be missed by many!!

Jim was the best friend I, or anyone, could ever ask for. A truly great person who genuinely cared about everyone he knew or met. You could always count on Jim for a big smile or good laugh. He just brought a feeling of calmness and joy with him wherever he went. I'm honored and thankful to have been one of Jim's close friends for so many years, although much too few. It's almost impossible to process such a loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Jim's family and friends. We love and miss you big Jim!
