Lillie Mason Obituary
Funeral Services for Mrs. Lillie Sue Gause Miller Mason, age 84, will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1 p.m., at St. Paul C.M.E. Church. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mason passed away peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
She was a retired educator in the Jackson Madison County School System.
She leaves to cherish her memory, 4 sons, Ronald Miller (Angela), Al Miller, Sr. (Stephanie), Barry Jones, all of Jackson, TN and Jessie Jones of Dyersburg, TN; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The remains of Mrs. Mason will lie-in-state at New Hope C.M.E. Church in Henning, TN on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., for public visitation. Also, her remains will lie-in-state at St. Paul C.M.E. Church in Jackson, TN from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. for public visitation. Family Hour will begin from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the church. The remains of Mrs. Mason will lie-in-state at the Church on Saturday from Noon until time of service.

Just saw Mrs. Masons obituary. It's been several years that she past. I have gray in my hair now. Mrs Mason was my 3rd grade teacher at Nova school. My condolences to the family.

To the Gause/Miller/Mason Family,
My deepest sympathy is extended to you at this time. Mrs. Mason was a wonderful educator in the Madison County System, having taught me in early education at East Elementary School. She will certainly be missed and I will continue to offer prayers for your family at this time.
