Services for Margaret "Meg" Trice will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Jackson Family Worship Center with Pastor Val Treece officiating. Burial will be in the New Mt. Zion M.B. Church Cemetery in Somerville Tennessee. Margaret "Meg" Trice was born February 8 1956 to the late Mr. Herbert Trice and Mrs. Forestine Puryear Trice. Meg made this transition from this earthly life on Monday March 3 2003 at 8:08 p.m. She professed an early hope in Christ at the Union Grove C.M.E. Church in Somerville Tennessee. She later joined the Jackson Family Worship Center where she attended faithfully until her health failed. Meg attended public schools in Fayette County graduating with honors from Fayette Ware High School. She also attended the University of Tennessee at Martin earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1978. She later attended the University of Tulsa in Tulsa Oklahoma earning a joint Masters and Law degree in 1983. During the summer of 1982 she attended Oxford University in London England. She worked for several years at the Southeast Tennessee Legal Services in Chattanooga Tennessee. She moved to Jackson Tennessee and became the office manager for Eastside Medical Center. Meg touched the lives of many. She displayed a quiet presence but always left a powerful impact on the lives of others. She offered encouragement and guidance to all she came in contact. She will be dearly missed. Meg is survived by a loving mother Mrs. Forestine Puryear Trice of Somerville TN; one sister Patricia Trice Winston of Jackson Dr. Robert Winston; one brother Herbert Trice Jr. of Randallstown MD Darlene. She was preceded in death by one brother Gerald Wayne Trice. She also leaves four nephews Terrell Woodson Reginald Winston John David Trice and Herbert Trice III; two nieces Robyn Winston and Christina Trice; a step niece and nephew Robert Winston Jr. and Angela Winston Teamer; two great nieces Taylor and Tyler; and one great nephew Kobie. She also leaves three uncles Jerome Puryear Indianapolis IN Ethel; Johnnie Towles Somerville TN and William Trice Memphis TN; and two aunts Pearl Stone Nashville TN and Fannie Trice Memphis TN; and a host of cousins and friends to mourn her passing.
