We just learned of Ricks passing and are so sadden, he was always such a nice guy. We met Rick on our morning dog walks along Higgs Beach in Key West. Rick always had a smile on his face and was so kind and gentle in warmly greeting our two little doggies in the morning. He was especially fond of our one dog who is a Cairn Terrier, as he said it reminded him of his Yorkie that he used to have, which he loved and missed. So, our little HIGGINS always got extra attention and loving from Rick. Towards the end of December, we sadly found out our 12 year old Higgins was thermally ill and Rick was even more loving to our little Higgins when we now brought him by in a stroller. The day we walked by with only one dog, Rick came up and gave us each a wonderful hug....and had tears in his eyes. Rick was a very caring and wonderful man. Our lives are richer, because Rick lived and touch our lives........ Our deepest sympathy and love to his family.....Tim and Linda

What a guy Rick was. Spent time with him in Milan during the summers at my sisters back when we were in high school. What fun times. With Rick there was never a dull moment. When you had a "Big Time" with Rick your ribs were sore for weeks from laughing! One of the funniest people I ever knew. He could have been an actor in Hollywood or a star in Vegas had he chose to. A talented and loving guy! You'll be missed Rick!

You will be missed by so many who loved you and enjoyed spending time with you. Some day I hope to be part of the big jam session you'll have going on in Heaven. The music up there wI'll be so much sweeter now. RIP dear friend.
