Trey Cummings Obituary
Funeral services for Trey Cummings, age 20, will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at Arrington Funeral Directors, with Rev. Clint Burkhead officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.
William Dickerson "Trey" Cummings III was born December 20, 1992 and passed January 8, 2013.
He was the best loving and kind hearted person anyone would want to be around. He enjoyed many activities, such as hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, playing with his niece, Briley, and hanging out with friends. He enjoyed working at Cummings Rare Coins, Inc., and spending time collecting and dealing in coins.
He is survived by his father, William Dickerson Cummings II; stepmother, Vicki Diane Pruitt Cummings; mother, Connie Estelle Tims; sister, Heather Brooke Cummings Crowder; brother-in-law, Corey Leon Crowder and niece, Briley Grace Crowder; paternal grandparents, William "Dicky" Dickerson Cummings and Shelia Ann Turner Cummings; uncle, Thomas Kristen Cummings; maternal grandparents, Billy Ray Maness and Lynda Jean Maness; paternal great-grandparents, Jimmy Turner and Louise Turner.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Tims, Jr.; a cousin, Linda Gail Tims; great-grandparents, Hal Dickerson Cummings and Francis Elizabeth Cummings; great-great-grandfather, Joe Page and great-great- grandmother, Etha Dew.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Trey was an amazing person, and if you didnt know him, you missed out! Its going to be very hard letting go and accecpting his death! I love him more than anything in this world, and i cant wait to see his big blue eyes and the pretty smile again! I LOVE YOU WILLIAM DICKERSON CUMMINGS III!

I only met Trey a couple times but he was my son Adam's friend. I will be praying for the whole family. Adam loved Trey like a brother & talked about him all the time. If there is anything we can do please let me or Adam know. I will continue to pray that God will give y'all strength to get thru this. May God bless everyone of you.

My heart breaks for you as a mother whose has lost her son. There are no words to express our love and the pain. My daughter went to school with Trey. Personally, I would ask Trey's friends to take a moment, pray for this family but also to write down your memories, of how Trey touched your life. You can share with his family, later. Regardless, of how brief you may have known Trey, every thought and moment shared will be precious.
