Mack Mason Obituary
The funeral will be Sunday, Oct. 25, 3 p.m. EDT in the chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home, Blakely, Ga. Pastors Juno Douglas and Jack Howell will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. EDT until funeral time at 3 p.m. EDT.
Active pallbearers are Alton Ranew, Theo Hobbs, Harry Sneads, Donald Clark, Kevin Lawrence and Bernard Neel. Alternate active pallbearers will be Ronnie Dozier and Bob Furry. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Sheffield, Aubrey Sheffield, Robert Earl Whittington, Gary McIntosh, Bobby McDaniel and Guy Edwards.
Mr. Mason was born April 17, 1921, in Randolph County, Ga., to the late Hubert Powell Mason and Clarence Wayne Merritt Mason. He was a member of the Sneads Assembly of God Church in Sneads, a retired farmer and a retired Army master sergeant, having served in World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Grimsley Mason of Sneads; four sons, Ottis Sinquefield and Janice of Albany, Ga., Ollin Sinquefield of Eufaula, Ala., Kenneth Mason and Jennifer of Panama City, and Herbert Mason of Georgetown, Ga.; three daughters, Patricia McLain and Braxton of Eufaula, Ruth McElvain of San Jose, Calif., and Kathy Bankston of Spotsylvania, Va.; 30 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
