Brandon Kirsch Obituary
Brandon Joseph Kirsch, 19 years old passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014. He was born June 5, 1995 in Lafayette, IN. He will be missed by his parents, Bryan J. Kirsch of Camby, IN and Beth (Sturgeon) & Tom Eitnier of Hillsboro, IN and his only sister and best friend, Megan Kirsch, also of Camby, IN. He recently graduated from Plainfield High School, May 31, 2014. Brandon lived life to the fullest and always had a smile that would light up a room. He enjoyed playing football, wrestling, was an avid weight lifter, and enjoyed hanging out with his many friends. Through high school and following, Brandon was employed by Camby Farms and Jensen's Pools. Brandon will also be missed by his grandparents: Jan & Carol Flora, Delphi, IN, Bob & Bea Sturgeon, Oxford, IN. Aunts & Uncles: Brian & Shannon Sturgeon, Plainfield, IN, Michelle & Dave Torok, Jacksonville, FL, Gena & Steven Cox, Oxford, IN, Karen & Rick Schluttenhofer, Fowler, IN. Cousins: Abigail Sturgeon; Matt & Chad Huckstep; Terracy & Josh Kirsch; Stefanie, Ryan, Brent, Natasha, Brody & Alex Cox; Jade & Kira Schluttenhofer and his very special friend Shelby Hartley. Proceeded in death by Grandma Shirley Sturgeon, Grandpa H. Gene Kirsch, Uncle Kurt Kirsch, and Cousin Kyle Schluttenhofer. Visitation to be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm Friday, June 27, 2014 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909. Funeral service Saturday 11:00am Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel.Officiating Rev. Kirk Zimmerman and Rev.Ed and Maryanna Selvidge. Burial will follow at Dayton Cemetery, Dayton, IN. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to contribute to the Lilly Endowment Charitable Foundation or charity of choice. You may sign the guest book or leave memories at www.soller-baker.com

My heart is weeping with the loss of my nephew, Brandon. And especially for my brother Bryan, Brandon's dad and soul mate. Brandon was such a kind hearted, sweet and sincere gentleman his entire life. Even as a tiny newborn he made you want to hug and love on him. This never stopped. He always lit up when you would see him and then came the hugs. I admired the love, strength and support he had for his dad and sister Megan. Bryan and Megan, I love you and will pray that you hold tight to the strength given to you by Brandon thru the years. Rest is peace Brandon, I love you, Always! ~ Aunt Gena ~ Until we meet again...

So painful to know he is gone. Nothing can really make that pain go away, but might be eased just little if we try to think about his smile, his laugh, his hugs, and try to think about how so very lucky we all are for the time we had him in our lives, even tho that time was way too short. We are all so sad to hear about the passing of Brandon. The first time I met him was @ football practice. He was so polite, and yes he does have a beautiful smile. Tyler spoke of Brandon & said how welcoming he was when he transferred to Plainfield. He will be missed by so many people especially his family.

Brandon was like an extended son to me. I will cherish all of the sleep overs, Boy Scout adventures, the vacations to Florida to see Aunt Michelle and camping in Earl Park. My son could not have asked for a better friend. May God wrap Brandon in his arms and take care of him now.
