Kenneth Ricks Obituary
Kenneth D. Ricks, 65, of Lafayette, IN, died at 3:40 PM Wednesday March 13, 2013, at St. Elizabeth East.
He was born February 25, 1948, in Lafayette, to George and Eleanor Beatrice Sipple Ricks
He graduated from Wainwright High School class of 1967.
On July 21, 1979, he married Peggy Ann Ferrell in Lafayette and she survives.
Mr. Ricks worked for IMI- Irving Materials INC- Cement Truck Driver for 34 years.
Mr.Ricks enjoyed his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, Hot Rods, Drag Racing and being on his BobCat Loader, playing with his dog Pepper.
Surviving are wife, Peggy Ricks, Lafayette; daughters, Kimberly Dyann Ricks (fiancé: Joe Marquez) and Karin Denise Ricks; son, Kenneth Dustin Ricks, all of Lafayette; brothers, Vincent Ricks (wife: Helen) and Leslie Ricks (wife: Carol), both of Lafayette.
Visitation will be Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. March 16, 2013, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel
Funeral Services Saturday 12 p.m. at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Pastor Joe Bell officiating. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to the American Heart Assoc. or National Kidney Foundation.
