I met Bob at the K of C 456, and was impressed by how full of life he was. Although he was 36 years older, he connected with my generation. Heart of Gold!

I met Mr. Edwards at Egyptian Lacquer when I worked there as a teen. He always made me smile. I just loved his smile too. He once gave my mom his meatloaf recipe and I still use that recipe to this day. God bless you Mr. Edwards.

Thanks Bingo Bob for 15+ years of calling patient bingo at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Every Thursday at 2 pm Bob signed on for a 30 minute televised Bingo session with patients. We knew how important it was when on a number of occasions patients would not agree to be dismissed until Bob signed off and the St. Elizabeth Auxiliary delivered the prizes. He and I shared our love of the circus and I especially liked to listen to "hopping the train stories" with Junior to be with Emmett Kelly until Junior had to be back for school on Monday. He was truly a "gracious" man with a good word of kindness for everyone. I'm better for knowing him. Roy Bryant, Audio/Visual Director at St. E.

Mr. Edwards was a friendly face that we would see when our parents (Herb and Louise May) took us to the KofC. May he rest in peace and his family find comfort in the many memories of him.

Bob was one of my professional mentors when I was a young man learning the trade at Egyptian 30 years ago. He truly cared about his fellow friends and co-workers, and he treated all of us as his own family.
Through those years at Egyptian, I have many fond memories of working hard alongside Bob, but having fun while doing so, and I carry on and utilize much of his knowledge even today in the coatings trade.
God Speed Bob. And prayers for family and friends.
