Scott A. Eisert

West Lafayette - Scott A. Eisert, 59, of West Lafayette, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. at his residence. Scott was born on March 4, 1961 in Lafayette to the late James Eisert and Barbara (Allen) Eisert. He married Karen Blankenship on November 17, 1984 in Lafayette, and she survives. Scott worked as a construction foreman for Hagerman Construction Company. He enjoyed woodworking, building things, outdoor activities, especially fishing, golf, and horseback riding. Scott also had a love for dogs, especially his best buddy, Bear, who survives him.

Surviving along with his wife, Karen Eisert, and mother, Barbara Eisert, are three children, Adam J. (fiancé: Ashley Soper) Blankenship of West Lafayette, Stacy (Mark) Peterson of Michigan City, Candice Eisert of Southbend. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Taylor Blankenship (partner: Emmaleigh Barron), Tye Blankenship, Isabella Risner, Helena Goss, Aaliyah Mossholder, Jayden Vandeventer, and one brother-in-law, Hillard Bunch.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Matthew Eisert, and one sister, Sundy Eisert Bunch.

Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Simplicity Funeral Care with Chaplain Zack Rainey officiating. Current Covid-19 precautions will be observed along with social distancing and current government attendance guidelines. Masks are required.
