Zachary Caldwell Obituary
Zachary Lynn Caldwell, 13, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was born September 18, 2003, in Frankfort, to Shannon and Brenda Fingerle Caldwell; his parents survive.
Zachary attended Clinton Prairie Schools and was a member of the FFA. He enjoyed and played football and was a lineman on both sides since third grade in Clinton Prairie Youth Football League. Farming and all things tractors were first on his mind. He was a member of Pride of the Prairie 4-H Club, showing pigs, goats, and farm toy scene. Zachary was active in competitive archery and was an avid hunter with both bow and gun.
In addition to his parents, Zachary is survived by his sister, Breawna Caldwell; paternal grandparents, Mark & Cathy Caldwell and Beth Conklin, all of Frankfort; maternal grandparents, Eileen & Bill Cahill, of Colfax, and Jack & Mel Fingerle, of Rossville; great-grandparents; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Frankfort, from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the Church with Pastors Joe Wagner and Shan Sheridan officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Memorials in Zachary's name may be made to the Zachary Caldwell Memorial Fund c/o The Farmer's Bank. Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
