My Dearest Hank and family, I have been out of state and just returned to hear of Gene's passing. My heart hurts for your loss. All of our lives are so much richer having known him. I will always remember his kindness, sence of humor, integrity and proffessionalism. No one has ever been more honest and forthwright. May Gods love be with you, hold you, and comfort you.

I and several of my co-workers have known Gene for many years. We were all shocked and extremely saddened to hear the news. He was such a wonderful guy, and a joy to be around. Every time I would visit the store, he would always have something to say to make you laugh or feel better about yourself. As others have said, a bright light went out in Richlands Wednesday, but the memories of Gene will live in our hearts and minds forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys, always!! From the guys at USIC....

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. We will remember Gene as a friend, honest, big-hearted, generous, a joker, Wildcat through and through and Blue Devil too. Gene was a great business man with a warm smile and kind soul just like his Daddy's (W.T.)...we still miss him too. While we are mourning the loss of our friend others are rejoicing to meet him again. A person's true wealth is the good he or she does in the world...Gene was a very wealthy man. His sweet spirit lives on in the memories of each of the many lives he touched. Sending Prayers and Condolences to the family, Frank and Sharon Cupsta and family.
