David Buffington Obituary
Dave was born on July 8, 1965, to the late Edward Grant and Nancy Ann (Huffman) Buffington in DuBois, Pa.; Nancy survives him. He graduated from the Brockway High School and most recently was working for Ace Hardware in Brookville, Pa.
On August 19, 2000, David married Elizabeth Ann (McKinley) Buffington in Allen's Mills, Pa.; she survives him.
His top priority was always his family. He made sure every day to tell them how much he loved them and everything he did he had his family in mind. David liked working with the public and commented on how fulfilling it was just to help people. He also loved sports, especially Steeler Football, if they lost it just ruined the whole day. He also enjoyed the Pirates, Penguins, and Golf. He loved playing golf, but he never seemed to get out on the greens as much as he would've liked to.
Dave's type of kindness, love, caring, and humor are a rarity, and he is going to be missed more than words can express.
In addition to his wife, Dave is survived by one son, Frank (Amber) Rossman; three grandchildren: Jace, Aurora, and Gunner Rossman; two brothers, Steve (Sandy) Buffington of Springrove, Pa., Jeff Buffington (Denise) of Brockport, Pa.; 4 nephews: Aaron (Jennifer) Buffington, Adam (fiancé Liz) Buffington, Jarod Steiner, John Bloom; one niece, Jenna Bloom (Fields); 2 great nephews, William and Jameison. He is also survived by his mother-in-law; Virginia McKinley, who he lovingly called Harriet, and she called him George.
In addition to his father, Dave is preceded in death by one sister, Lori Pisarchik; his son, Kyle Evan Rossman; and his father-in-law, Carl McKinley.
A private viewing and family time took place at the McKinney – d'Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Brookville, PA, 15825, with Pastor Joni Williams offering comfort and prayers. Online condolences and other information may be found at www.mckinneydargy.com
