Jane Elizabeth Miller, 75, of Brookville, PA, passed away during the early morning hours of Monday, June 6, 2022, while a patient at Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital.

Jane was born on January 24, 1947, to the late Gerald and Evelyn (Uplinger) Richards in Brookville, PA. She graduated from Brookville Area High School and worked in housekeeping in the Brookville area. On August 19, 1994, she married Frederick Miller, at their home when they lived in Anita; Fred preceded her in passing on April 11, 2017. Jane loved to work on crafts, especially crocheting and knitting.

Jane is survived by two children, Frederick Baughman and Alicia McCracken; twin brother Eugene Richards; five grandchildren: Dustin Wallace, Dakota Wallace, Harley Cook, Kaylie Clinger, and Ayla Becker; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jane is preceded in passing by one daughter; Tracy Baughman; two sisters; Rose Richards and Emily Richards; and two brothers; Huddy Richards and Gerald Richards.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McKinney – d'Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will be held immediately following the viewing, beginning at 1 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Joe Short. Interment will take place at Butler Cemetery, Pine Creek Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
