Patsy Ann Woodie May of Todd died Sunday, May 25, 2014, at her residence. She was 54.
Mrs. May was born on Oct. 28, 1959, to the late Bryce and Hilda Houck Woodie.
Including her parents, Mrs. May was preceded in death by her father in-law, Billy Joe May.
Mrs. May worked in Customer Service Relations at Yadkin Bank in Jefferson. Patsy was a member of Bristol Baptist Church. She enjoyed her flowers, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. May is survived by her husband: Phillip May; one son, Zachary May of the home; one brother, Bryce Woodie Jr. and wife Debbie of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters, Janice Culp of Clover, South Carolina, Jessie Arnold and husband Larry of Lenoir, Connie Cockerham and husband Bill of Jamestown; her mother in-law, Wilma Carpenter May of Jefferson; brother in-law, Steven May and wife Tammy of Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Bristol Baptist Church by Rev. Billy Joe Blevins. Burial will follow in the Wallace Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. prior to the service.

So sad to hear of the lost of sweet Patsy. She was a wonderful, kind-hearted person whose smile brightened up every room.. She always made me feel very welcomed in the family. I will greatly miss her but I will see u again soon on HEAVEN'S BRIGHT SHORE.... Heaven has gained a new Rose for the MASTERS GARDEN...
