Flossie Lewis Obituary

FINDLAY -- Flossie Lewis, 81, of Findlay, passed away 6:35 a.m. Saturday (July 21, 2007) in her home in Findlay with all nine children at her side. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. today, July 23, 2007, at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Visitation will be one hour before the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in French Cemetery, Allenville. Memorials may be made to Donor's Choice. Flossie was born February 18, 1926 in Sullivan the daughter of Rufus H. and Mabel Marie (Stain) Miller. She married Raymond M. Lewis April 24, 1945 in Shelbyville. She is a member of the Salvation Army Church, Mattoon. Flossie is survived by her husband Raymond; sons, Michael D. Lewis of Perryville, MO, John T. Lewis of Murphysboro, IL, Kenneth R. Lewis of Chester, IL and George W. (Letisha) Lewis of Findlay; daughters, Patsy (Norm) Roy of Odessa, MO, Shirley (Bill) Douglas of Charleston, Marsha (Maurice) Plunkett of Perryville, MO, Sue (Bruce) Malloy of Church Hill, TN, Rose M. Howard of Perryville, MO; brothers, Don (Marge) Miller of Sullivan, Bernard (Dorothy) Miller of Strasburg; sisters, Barbara (Lawrence) Dial of Mattoon and sister-in-law, Dolores Miller of Tulsa, OK; thirty-five grandchildren and fifty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert and Wayne and one sister, Pearl.
