To the family of Randy Taggart, I feel for your losses. Randy was a good man and will be missed by all. Randy had personally touched the lives of my family. When I lost my mother about three years ago, Randy was there and gave inspiring words to help me cope with my losses. Randy will always be close and looking over his loved ones.

It was my privalige and honor to have Randy as my cousin! I have many memories of times spent at Grandpa and Grandma Taggart's house. Randy and I played alot togeter. We were what you call kissing cousins. There were times that I wondered if we hadn't been related if we wouldn't have ended up being more to each other than cousins.

After we moved to Arizona I didn't get to stay as close to him as I had been in the past. Over the years I have kept up with how and what he was doing through his sister Cindy who lives in Arizona.

To Donna, Matt, and Melodie I would like to say that you are all in my prayers and thoughts. I would like you to know that me and my family share in your time of sorrow! Just hold onto JESUS and let him be your stength! We have the blessed hope and assurance that we will be reunited with Randy again SOON! What a GREAT HOMECOMING that will be!!!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Taggart family at this most difficult time. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Randy during Late Night Dances at the MLK Union, and on more than one occasion, I had to call on him to handle a difficult situation. He always carried himself professionally, and was a pleasant sight in the Union. I am truly thankful that I was able to interact with and just simply have chats with over the last 5 years I was there. He was an Officer that showed a true passion and a love for the job. I am proud and humbled to have known him.

I do not have as many memories of Randy as my older brother Robert has because I was so young when we moved away. But I do have some memories of my own.

I remember all of us grandkids playing red rover and hide and seek out in Grandma Taggart's yard until it was too dark to play anymore. I always looked forward to those summer visits so that I could spend time with Mike, Randy, Cindy and Ramona. It always broke my heart to see them leave Grandma's on the last night we were there because I knew it would be another year before I would be able to spend time with my cousins again.

I am so saddened that Randy is gone but I know he is with Jesus now as well as Grandpa and Grandma Taggart. One day soon the trumpet will sound and the Lord shall descend and we which are alive and remain will be caught up to meet them in the air! Halleluhjah! What a wonderful family reunion we'll have!

Donna, Matthew and Melanie there are no words that can be spoken that will ease your suffering and loss. So I pray that the the Holy Spirit will wrap His arms of love around you and comfort you as only He can.

All my love,
Vanessa

Dear Mel, I am in shock over your dad's passing. I saw him just last week when I was walking my dog, and he teased me about Fin pulling me along. He always had a smile and friendly word whenever our paths crossed, & it was very apparent to me that he was crazy about you! What a wonderful father he must have been. I can only imagine the pain you and your mom are feeling. My heart truly goes out to you. You've been in my thoughts every day, & I pray you receive strength and peace from the wonderful memories of your years together and the knowledge that you will one day be reunited. You have many people praying for you, Mel. Love, Mindy

It was and always will be my honor to have had Randy as my cousin. As young children, we shared many wonderful times together, playing on the roller coaster at Grandma & Grandpa Taggart's or the sleepovers at Mike and Randy's house. There are the memories of their trip to AZ (while we were all still kids) and we all drove on over to Disneyland with Grandma Taggart.

I will always be thankful for the time I got to spend with him at Grandma Taggart's funeral in December 2000. It was a short moment in time after almost 15 years, but a memory I will always hold close in my heart.

Our family (Taggart) loved Randy and always wanted him to be a part of our lives throughout the years along with his family. They are loved as he was and always will be.

In times like these, we are reminded of how short and precious our time on earth is. It is imperative that we make the most of it and keep our focus on what's most important.

Matthew and Melanie, I hope that you will remember in the weeks and months to come, that we love you and are here to be a part of your lives if you need us.

May your Dad find peace now in the arms of our Loving Saviour.
Bob
