Richard Brewer Obituary

Richard L. "Rick" Brewer, II, age 51 formerly of Casey, passed away the evening of January 15, 2004 in Covington, Georgia. He was born November 7, 1952 in Casey, Clark Co., Illinois, the son of Richard Lee "Dick" Brewer and Meriem Hartman-Brewer. His father preceded him in death. He is survived by a daughter, Rhiannon Patrick (husband Mike) of Athens, Georgia; and sons, Richard Lee "Ricky" Brewer III and James Michael "Jimi" Brewer, both still at home in Covington, Georgia. Also surviving are his mother and step-father, Meriem and Ed Wrigth of Charleston, Illinois; three brothers, Terry Brewer (wife Kristi) of North Aurora, Illinois; Scott A. Brewer of Casey, Illinois; and Randy Brewer (wife Angela) of Martinsville, Illinois; two sisters, Judy Davis (husband Bill) of Charleston, Illinois, and Jo Amber Young (husband Tom) of St. Joseph, Illinois; and one step-sister, Mary Anna Gill (husband Allen) of Paris, Illinois. He is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces in this area. Rick was a 1970 graduate of Casey High School. Memorial services were held in Covington, Georgia, Sunday, January 18. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL. Private burial will be in Casey Cumberland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Canines for Disabled Kids, 299 Redemption Rock Trail South, Princeton, MA.
