Brady Newsom Obituary

Brady Wayne Newsom, 14-month-old child of Darrell and Courtney Newsom, joined his Heavenly father on August 13, 2025. Brady was born in Jonesboro on June 19, 2024. He was a lifetime resident of Brookland. He loved watching Curious George, playing with his sister, Mackenzie, and running in his walker. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marvin Newsom. Survivors include his mother and father, Courtney and Darrell Newsom; sister, Mackenzie Mae Newsom, all of the home; grandparents, Bobbie "Memaw" Thorn of Jonesboro; Tommy "Papa" and Kelly "Mimi" Thorn of Trumann; Billie "Mamaw" Newsom of El Paso, Arkansas. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00 AM Friday, August 22, 2025, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Jim Duffel officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Brian Riga, Isaac Howard, Kenny Raby, and Ed Rowlett serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Cleo Sterling and Bucky Six.
