Buddy Green Obituary

Buddy Green, a loving husband, father, papa, and brother passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the St. Bernard's Hospital. Born on August 24, 1950 in Lafe, Arkansas, Buddy lived a life full of love, adventure and unwavering dedication to his family. Buddy was a proud Marine Veteran who served his country with honor in the Vietnam War. After his service, he embraced his passion for the outdoors, becoming an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a special gift for storytelling, always able to bring laughter and warmth to any room. His generosity and kind spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He truly never met a stranger. A devoted family man, Buddy cherished time spent with his loved ones. He was especially proud of raising cattle and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. His family was his world, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Buddy was preceded in death by a son: Brandon Green, his parents: Mabern and Frances (Rogers) Green, his brothers: Thomas Green, Phillip Green, Roger Green and Robert Green, and two nephews: Jeremy Green and Thomas Ray Green Buddy is survived by his loving wife Sharon, son Brad, grandchildren Kasen and Libby, as well as brothers Bill (Sherry), Joe (Neda), Amos (Dena), and sisters Pat (Terry,) Holt and Libby Owens and a host of family and friends who will carry his memory with them forever. The family will hold a service in his honor, celebrating the life of a man who lived with a kind heart and a deep love for his family. Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Marmaduke, Arkansas, March 18, 2025. Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 2:00 with the service following. Brother Kim Bridges, Brother David Flannery will be officiating. The following will be serving as Pallbearers. Brad Green, Kasen Green, Gary Loveless, Jeff Wolfenbarger, Justin Jackson, Jarret Kirk and serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Wes Stallcup, Darrel Dale and Oscar Willoughby. Interment will be at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery. Buddy's legacy of kindness, laughter and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
