Cynthia Rieathbaum Obituary

On September 13, 2025, Cynthia Ann Rieathbaum of Trumann, AR departed from this side of life surrounded by those she loved most. She was 56 years and 4 months of age. Born to J. L. Sr. and Louvada Clairday, Cynthia was raised in Bay, AR but spent most of her life in Trumann, AR, where she met the love of her life, Daniel. Cynthia grew up in the small town of Bay, AR. She was an alumni of Bay High School. Growing up, Cynthia was timid but loyal. If she was on your side, you had nothing to fear. She had your back one hundred percent. She preferred a more quiet, calm road in life, but she was always dragged along on fun, crazy adventures by her childhood best friend, Annie. Cynthia started her young career at Sonic where she met the love of her life, Daniel. They spent 33 years together, creating lasting memories and they had two beautiful children, Cory and Alysha. Family meant everything to her. She poured her heart out to make sure everyone was loved and taken care of. She always put everyone before herself. Cynthia touched many lives throughout her time on Earth. She was an inspiration to those she worked with, went to church with, and even to those that she only met one time. She let her light shine everywhere she went. Cynthia loved all things sunflowers, roosters, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Golden Girls, and John Wayne. She loved to read and to sew. Cynthia loved Princess Diana. She also loved being able to spend time baking cupcakes and goodies with her granddaughters, Acelynne and Emersyn. Being a grandma was the greatest job she ever had. Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Connie Sue Maggard and Linda Sims; one brother William D Clairday; one brother-in-law Rex Allen Maggard Sr., and her sister-in-law, Dixie Jean Clairday. Cynthia is survived by her husband of 33 years, Daniel Rieathbaum, two children, Cory Rieathbaum of Trumann, AR and Alysha Greer (Benjamin) of Bay, AR, one brother, J.L. Clairday, Jr. of Bay, AR, one sister Joyce Clairday of Bay, AR, her two granddaughters who were the light of her world, Acelynne and Emersyn Greer; her best friend of 48 years Annie Fread of Belton Springs, TX; her Golden Girls, Charlotte Rose, Vickie Morgan, and Linda Youngman, and her texting girls; Glenda Kilgore, Ann Moreira, and Jennifer Barrett. Cynthia is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 801 Smith St, in Trumann, AR. Funeral service will be Friday, September 19, 2025 at Calvary Pentecostal Church starting at 10:00 am with Bro. Rick Forbis officiating. Burial will take place following the funeral at Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR. An online registry book can be signed at thompsonfuneralhome.net.
