Jessica Nowicki Obituary

Jessica Faye Nowicki, age 40, passed away on September 1, 2025, in Florida. Born on September 16, 1984, to Grey West Sr. and Joyce Cates Totty, Jessica lived a life full of energy, kindness, and adventure. Jessica was known for her radiant personality and her gift for making friends wherever she went. She loved meeting new people, traveling across the country, and embracing the outdoors, especially camping. Whether she was riding her bicycle or listening to music, Jessica found joy in the simple pleasures of life and shared that joy freely with others. She is survived by her loving parents; her three children, Greg West, Leland, and Neiko; her brothers, Jeff Cates and Colby Hopkins; her aunts, Hassie Householder and Vickie Gonzales; and her uncles, Rodger West, Vance West, Bob West, and Jimmy West. Jessica also leaves behind many cherished cousins: Chris Bell, Elezabeth Bufkin, Heather Birdwell, Terry Chaplain Jr, Matt Gower, Heather Gower, Melvin Bell Jr., Jeremiah Householder, Mary Fay Shiver and Lester Davidson. Jessica was preceded in death by two uncles, Terry Chaplain, and Eddie Joe Householder, sister Tammie Cates, aunt, Stacy West, and grandparents Jack & Mary West and Roy & Mazie Cates. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate the life of a woman who brought light and laughter to so many.
